With the return of Derek Fisher tonight at Staples (as a player for the OKC Thunder after being traded) I though I would share my favorite Derek Fisher moment as a Laker fan. In a bar in Chicago where I was the ONLY ONE rooting for the Lakers it seemed like Orlando was about to take the game and lead in Game 4 of the Finals….. then Fisher happened.

After the 3 from Fisher that sent the game into overtime, I ran to the bathroom, closed the door, and yelled as loud as I could. After being made fun of for being a Laker fan in that bar and hearing constant “Beat LA” all night, Fisher had shut them up. This was the greatest Laker game I had ever seen. Lakers went on to win the Championship the next game in Orlando.

Thanks Fish for the memories…

With that being said, I hope you lose tonight Fisher.
